Hungry Sky is a multi-award winning interactive design studio based in Perth, Western Australia. We create experiences, from interactive projections to multi-player AR and immersive VR games. We are very proud to be releasing our first self-published mobile game, Nekograms.


Early history

Hungry Sky started in 2011 as a business and creative partnership between Nick Lowe and Minh Tran, who previously co-founded the non-profit organisation "Let's Make Games" to encourage Western Australian game developers to create games and celebrate their efforts.


Between 2011 and 2020, we established ourselves as a premier studio for digital interactive experiences, and collaborated for a number of high profile clients including: the Art Gallery of Western Australia, the WA Museum, the BitSummit Festival, and the Australian Museum.

Major Projects

As sole interactive software provider for the Construction Futures Centre, we designed and produced a wide range of fun and engaging AR, VR, and touchscren games. We also produced best-in-class projection mapping and interactive exhibits for the WA Museum Boola Bardip.


We started work on Nekograms in 2015, and developed it for presentation at various festivals and events until PAX AUS 2019. The public response to Nekograms has always been overwhelming positive, and we decided to focus on completing the game for release to our fans in 2021.
